Protecting Our Seniors

From Capitol Confidential:

The ninety-plus-year-old parents of Rep. Paul Tonko are among the roughly 680 voters whose ballots were found objectionable by lawyers representing Republican Assemblyman George Amedore in his bid to represent the 46th State Senate District, according to a Democrat involved in the ballot counting.

An aide to Tonko, D-Amsterdam, confirmed that his parents Frances and Stanley did vote by absentee ballot; because of their advanced age, they have trouble getting to a physical polling place.

And that’s why Amedore won handily in Montgomery COunty– he knows how to protect our seniors … from voting.
